With only one game left in the regular season, everything is still on the line in the NFC East this Sunday afternoon in Dallas.
After 15 games, the Eagles stand at 11-4, one game ahead of the 10-5 Cowboys. But the Cowboys beat the Eagles earlier in the season in Philadelphia, so the final regular season game in the inaugural season of the new Cowboys Stadium is a winner-take-all affair for the NFC East crown. Playoff seeding is also on the line for both teams.
With a win, the Eagles will either usurp the Minnesota Vikings for the No. 2 seed in the NFC and with it the accompanying first-round bye or they will retain the No. 3 seed and a trip back to Philadelphia for a rematch with the Cowboys.
If the Cowboys win this Sunday, they are almost assured of a rematch at home against the Eagles, barring a tie between the Arizona Cardinals and Green Bay Packers. The possibility of an impending rematch between the Eagles and Cowboys in the playoffs is one of many intriguing subplots heading into the NFC East grudge match.
PS: Good luck to you tonight KQ2 ... You are looking good so far!
